Marlon Poroj

 

Marlon Poroj is an alumni of El Camino and former co-captain during the 2014-2015 year when he, Emily, and Shawn headed the team. During his time, Marlon mainly focused on Congress and Duo, with DI or OI as his supplement. Congress was his strongest event, as he finaled or semi-finaled in nearly every single tournament he attended through out the TCFL season, including Berkeley, State Championships, and Tournament of Champions. His last performance garnered him as a finalist in the Senate of the National Tournament. Due to his dead-pan glare, demeanor, and habit of wearing of coats, he was nicknamed by the team as "Papa Poroj". Marlon currently attends the University of California, Santa Barbara.
